MILITARY | DHS | FAA
[ MILITARY ]
I began my Military Service in the US Army (Reserves), with the intent of funding my education via the G.I. Bill. I attended Army Basic Combat Training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri the Summer prior to my last year in High School. I was 17 years old.
The next Summer (at 18), I reported to Fort Eustis, VA for Tech School, but it wasn't long until I realized that I loved the Travel & Adventure of Military Service, and sought it out full-time. It was then that I decided to join the Active Duty Navy and was off for sunny Orlando, FL and Navy Boot Camp! The rest, as they say, is history - or rather, Mystory.
[ DHS ]
Known by many names (UAV, UAS, Drone) Unmanned Aerial Systems and the equipment they house have played a major role in my professional career.

The Modern Warfighter
7th Fleet - Ready!
One noteworthy assignment was with U.S. Customs and Border Protection. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the Border Protection Agents, and have some great stories as a result!
[ FAA ]
Throughout my career I have been on many varied assignments. With everything from Naval Deployments on Nuclear-Powered Aircraft Carriers, to manned-flight intel/surveillance missions & being embedded with foreign allied Military forces. I have done my best and am proud of every effort and commitment. However, there is one assignment I am particularly proud to have been a part of.
As a member of Raytheon’s STARS (Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System) Program, I was responsible for the installation, integration and test of outdated FAA Air Traffic Control systems throughout the US, to include TRACON’s in Indianapolis, Louisiana and New York’s JFK and LaGuardia Airports. Under the program, ALL Air Traffic Control Centers in the Nation were upgraded with modern fiber-optics, HD displays and the like.
